Veterinary nurse wanted — a rare opportunity at Arken Dyreklinikk
Are you a veterinary nurse looking for a workplace where you’re genuinely seen, professionally challenged, and part of a close team? Arken Dyreklinikk is looking for an authorised veterinary nurse to join our team in Ålgård, Norway.
Who are we?
We’re the largest independently owned, family-run veterinary clinic in our area — ISO-certified, and serving clients across southern Rogaland. We offer broad small-animal care and work as one team to give our patients good treatment and their owners peace of mind. We score well above the national average on client satisfaction.
Several of our staff have been with us for many years — that says something about the environment you’d be joining. ❤️
Why join us?
- Become part of a close-knit team with real room to grow professionally
- Take part in courses funded by the clinic on a regular basis
- We have a genuine need for a nurse ready to take ownership of our dental room — full training and support provided as you build this into your own area of expertise
- We regularly see interesting exotic animals too, for anyone wanting to build experience there as well
- Training to independently follow your own patients through puppy and weight check-ups — real clinical responsibility, not just assisting
- Clear routines and well-organised systems to work in (Provet Cloud, ePraksis)
- Competitive salary based on experience, plus pension scheme and private health insurance
Your main tasks
- Independently following up your own patients on puppy and weight check-ups
- Taking an active part in daily clinical work alongside vets and fellow nurses
- Contributing in the dental room, with growing responsibility over time
- Taking part in the clinic’s on-call rota (shared among staff — Thursdays and every 6th weekend)
- Keeping clear, accurate records in our clinical systems
Who we’re looking for
- Qualified veterinary nurse (authorised)
- Thrives in a busy, varied clinical environment
- Professionally curious, with a genuine wish to keep developing
- A positive contributor who takes ownership within the team

- Location: Industriveien 8, 4331 Ålgård, Norway
- Position type: Permanent
